New Year new outlook

I thought 2013 was a bad year, but I had no idea what was coming my way. In 2014 I lost my mother, my brother-in-law and my pride. As I write this I am recovering from the flu and waiting for a call that my grandmother has passed.
This year all I want is to recover and come out on the other end in one piece. I have my fingers crossed on that one.
Some things did turn out well, I found a job. I hate it with the passions of a 1000 suns, but it has helped me so for that I am very thankful. Even better ,was the offer of another job with much better pay and benefits that will start on 2/16/15.
I am very excited about this.
The past two years I have woefully failed at my word count (56k this year) but I'm going to give it the old college try again this year and try for 250k.
